Since last week, we have Tim in our minds. We work / used to work in the French Eurocentres schools, and Tim used to coordinate English and French Academic projects. As a colleague, as a man, Tim was always kind, attentive to everyone, to every idea, and he always found time for others, in spite of a more than busy schedule. He was also very good at “decrypting” his colleagues sometimes “broken” French! And it’s because he never lacked humility and patience to understand others. One thing to mention is, by the way, Tim’s level in French. He attended classes in Amboise some years ago. He was a bit insecure with his level at first. But, as time went by, his French became excellent, very accurate, he could express very well, even in technical and professional situations, on the phone, in e-mails… Many people wrote so well here about his work skills. Of course, it’s important to mention them, as he was a real expert in what he was in charge of. Brian had chosen the best person that could exist to succeed him! Tim always understood the issues and challenges of projects, and gave his colleagues all the means and help he could to develop them. Developing an online platform in French… Adapting French schools to the CEFR evolution… We could not have done it without him. Overall, it’s important to mention them because he was so good at what he did because he had real human qualities that we will not forget. We’ll miss you, Tim, we’ll miss the kind person you were. Our hearts go out to his wife, to his family and friends. Carine, Fanny, Gabrielle, Jean-Daniel, Kelly, Nathalie
