I had invited Tim in April 2018 as a keynote speaker for a language teachers‘ meeting in Milan. At that time I was working for the Local Education Authority for Lombardy and had organised a seminar on the CEFR Companion Volume. I live in Bergamo and I picked Tim up at our airport. He spent the night at a B&B in my city. That evening I invited him to dinner in our wonderful High Town and the following day we took a coach together to the school in Milan where the seminar was held.
