I had the chance and the honour to work very closely with Tim in the Companion Volume project of the Council of Europe. I enjoyed so much working with him, I really looked forward to our online and in person sessions. Tim accepted to work as the consultant expert in our Canadian research project LINCDIRE (Linguistic and cultural Diversity Reinvented). and this was a blessing for the project. Tim was an amazing person, so intelligent, kind, reflective and funny. He was a joy to work with: incredibly competent, thoughtful and modest. Time seemed to be lighter with him. His smile helped us all. We all lost a wonderful friend.
