Dear all,

we wanted to let everybody here know that we have dedicated the entire #2 of the journal - published at https://cefrjapan.net/journal - to the memory of Tim. His friend and ex-colleague Brian North was kind enough to write a few lines for us (see p 7). Tim had as recently as May 2019 joined the editorial advisory board of our young journal. And as recently as early March he had supplied us with a review for issue no. 2.

We were all shocked by the terrible news of his untimely passing. However, we are heartened by the tremendous and loving devotion featured on this wonderful page in his memory.
